a show and a movie

well, it seems like as a good a time as any to catch ya'll up on my last few days (that does assume some readers...hmm).

friday night i drove to Oklahoma City with Jared to play with Jah Roots. Had fun, drove home after the show (kinda... slept in a mcdonalds parking lot... if they're gonna take this much of my money, they should house me occasionaly) kissed the girl, drove to Hot Springs, had a blast, slept in a tent, got yelled at by a park ranger, drove the home the scenic way (AR 7, amazing) did my taxes, went to school, taught, conducted a concert, came home watched blood diamond.

ok, so the concert went well. it was not my initial reaction to say that, but all parties seem to think we've improved dramatically since january, so i'll take what i can get. with several 'surprise' absences, i was quite nervous about the way it'd turn out. i'll probably have more on that tommorow after i listen to the recordings. by tommorow, i mean in 4 hours.

the reason i'm up so late (Aside from the whole can't-unwind-rapidly-christ-i'm-not healthy) is because i enjoyed this fine Leo film, Blood Diamond. i really do enjoy having the social commentary side notes on my action flicks.

it was great to be back with the boys for a few shows, it's really cool to see the way two venues and towns i'd never played before treated them.
